Rehan Qureshi Barrister & Solicitor
Rehan Qureshi is a member of the litigation group at Swainson Miki Peskett LLP with a focus on corporate and commercial litigation. Prior to being called to the Alberta Bar, Rehan obtained a B.S.c in Physical Sciences from the University of Alberta. After gaining over five years of valuable field experience in operations, he returned to school and obtained an honours law degree from Bond University in Australia.
Rehan’s litigation practice is client-centered and results driven. Implementing all options for clients including settlement conferences, filing claims, and conducting applications. Rehan values the lawyer-client relationship and ensures personal service as a part of being trusted counsel to achieve results for his clients. Rehan has acted as counsel and second counsel in complex matters in the Court of King’s Bench, Court of Appeal, as well as matters in the Alberta Court of Justice. He also has experience in summary judgment applications, enforcement proceedings, and assisted in the execution of an Anton Piller Order. Having conducted files for a range of individual and business clients, Rehan has experience dealing with issues including shareholder disputes, breaches of director duties, contract disputes, and professional negligence. He places importance in being thorough while understanding clients’ needs for timeliness in arriving at practical solutions.
In Rehan’s free time, he enjoys going to the gym, hot yoga, travelling, and watching the Oilers.
