Ethan L. Kreiser Student-At-Law

Ethan Kreiser joins Swainson Miki Peskett LLP as a 2024-2025 Student-at-Law. Ethan earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta. Ethan also holds a double major in History and Political Science from the University of Alberta.

Ethan’s legal journey is marked by his academic excellence and commitment to Indigenous legal studies. This includes an active role in the Wahkohtowin Law and Governance Lodge’s “Launchpad into Law” program, which prepares students to view Canadian law through an anti-colonial lens. Ethan’s strengths within his practice include a deep understanding of historical and political contexts, which he leverages to provide insightful legal analysis and advocacy.

Growing up in St. Albert, Ethan has been entrenched in his community, coaching women’s minor hockey for over eight years. Outside of his legal pursuits, Ethan enjoys hockey, live music, and travel.
