Elizabeth A. Harding Barrister & Solicitor
Elizabeth Harding is a member of Swainson Miki Peskett’s commercial litigation group. After growing up in Edmonton and receiving her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta, Elizabeth went east to attend law school at the University of Ottawa where she received a Juris Doctorate. Upon graduating, Elizabeth moved back to Alberta and has built a practice specializing in commercial litigation.
Elizabeth assists clients in resolving contractual claims, construction and builders’ lien disputes, surety bond claims, commercial and residential lease disputes, foreclosures, debt collection, and bankruptcy and insolvency matters. Elizabeth has appeared as counsel before the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta and the Provincial Court of Alberta on behalf of individuals, corporations, non-profit organizations and public sector clients.
Elizabeth relies on her research and strong oral advocacy skills to ensure her client’s interests are well known and well represented. Utilizing a collaborative-based approach, Elizabeth is focused on finding solutions for her clients’ issues, often thinking outside the box to do so.
When Elizabeth is not working, you can find Elizabeth with her family – generally partaking in some sort of outdoor activity. After growing up spending the summers visiting her extended family in New Brunswick, Elizabeth considers herself a proud Albertan but a Maritimer at heart.
